Don’t stop, make it pop, DJ blow my speakers up. I bet everyone’s got that in their heads, so here’s the thing about Kesha, the 22-year-old pop singer. Her new single ‘Tik Tok’ is burning up the Billboard charts. She has already collaborated with Flo Rida and Miley Cyrus and sang background for Britney Spears, so it’s no wonder she ended up teaming with Diddy in the studio. She’s got P Diddy in very first line of her new hit ‘Tik Tok’ , she explains “Diddy ended up on ‘Tik Tok’ because one morning, I woke up surrounded by a bunch of hot babes, and I was like, ‘I’m like Diddy, man,’ ” she told MTV News. “Then I wrote the first line of ‘Tik Tok,’ which is ‘Wake up in the morning feeling like P Diddy.’” Diddy surprisingly also had a little bit of time in his very busy schedule to drop by the studio almost immediately to contribute his lines to ‘Tik Tok.’ In the song, he raps, “Hey, what up girl?” and “Let’s Go.” Her breakthrough came in early 2009 after appearing on Flo Rida’s number one single ‘Right Round’. Her debut single, ‘Tik Tok’, was released in August 2009 and reached number one in five countries and set the female weekly download record in the US. Her debut album, Animal, was released in early 2010 and debuted at number 1 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart. She is one hot babe – no doubt.
Kesha was born in Los Angeles and only raised by single parent, her mum. Her mother, Pebe Serbert, is a singer and song writer, who one handedly raised Kesha and her two other brothers. They weren’t financially stable and had to rely on welfare payments and food stamps. Pebe encouraged Kesha to sing and taught her how to write songs. She dropped out of school at a tender age of seventeen, encouraged by Dr. Luke and Max Martin to return to Angeles to pursue her music career. Kesha survived on low-income in Angeles, working as a waitress and dabbling in telemarketing. Kesha gained exposure in early 2009 after appearing in Flo Rida’s single ‘Right Round’. The collaboration came about when Kesha was hanging out in studio with Flo Rida and Dr. Luke, who was producing the song; Flo Rida decided that the song needed a female voice and Kesha was then suggested for the part by Dr. Luke. Flo Rida liked the end result so much that they did two more songs. Unfortunately, she was not credited and therefore did not get any money for her contributions. But hey, look at her now! She is one successful pop diva who has great talents to producing better singles in time to come.

yes, today’s the AIMS!! haha. went to JCC for the competition. i saw brittany there when i arrived,jenling came shortly after, and the best thing was : IT WAS RAINING.
OKAY HAHA.
then when it was drizzling, we started to jump into the pool for warm ups! coach Zhang coached us, 4, 25m sprints and 400 competition strokes.
then the real thing started.
BRIT was shocked when the person told her she got individual medly! haha
